HOW IT ALL BEGAN
A family business with deep roots in commercial fishing spanning multiple decades.
OUR STORY
What's In A Name
The Hobo Seafood story begins in the 1990's in a small, picturesque fishing town named Swan Quarter in North Carolina where Williams purchased, revitalized and later expanded multiple seafood docks and packing facilities from days past. The name of the business was inspired by his father's shrimp trawler F/V Hobo Circa 1967 (pictured). Like the F/V Hobo, solid and well-built remains their reputation in the seafood industry. This lasting spirit of hard work and dedication lives on through their continued commercial fishing operations and relationships.
HOBO SEAFOOD TODAY
Two decades later, Hobo Seafood is better than ever providing local jobs, and superb seafood that brings soul to Swan Quarter and all over the country.
